Using the Right Click Menus
Many areas have right-click menus which have additional functions and
shortcuts
Right click in a field when editing to access the edit menu.
The following options are available:
| Field | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Restore or Undo | Will undo any changes you made in the field. |
| Cut | Removes the selected text to the clipboard. |
| Copy | Copies the selected text to the clipboard. |
| Paste | Will insert text stored on the clipboard where the cursor is placed. |
| Delete | Clears all text from the field. |
| Select All | Selects all the text in the field |
Right click in a blank area of the Desktop to open the
Desktop menu.
The following options are available:
| Field | Explanation |
|---|---|
| To do List Summary | Opens a window showing a summary of the Tasks list. |
| Show Search | Opens the F3 global search screen. |
| Show Favourites | Opens a condensed version of the Navigator where you can expand the favourites folder. |
| Save Desktop Settings | Saves any changes made to any windows. |
When viewing records, for example an employee's super funds, right click in the right hand pane to open the list menu.
The following options are available:
| Field | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Choose Fields | Opens the field chooser window, which allows you to select the columns displayed in the list of records. |
| Expand All | Allows you to open all groups of records (applicable only if your records have been grouped). |
| Group Panel | Allows you to apply grouping to the records displayed. |
| Save Settings | Allows you to save the current display settings for this window. |
| Reset Fields | Will revert the current window to its default settings. |
| Best Fit All | Enables all fields to be the best fit on screen for easier viewing. |
| Reset View to Default | Resets the view to original view prior to an y changes made. |
The Legend
option appears only on the payrun
entry screen when viewing a list of employees to pay.
It is used to
show/hide the legend for employee
payrun status on the bottom of the screen:
